Vocay only releases the profile information of a member with an employer after a Ping has been sent to that employer, by the member, at the member’s discretion. This means that, unless you Ping a hiring manager, your profile is 100% private and confidential.
Nope, there is no obligation to Ping a hiring manager after you’ve signed up. You can sign up if you’re not actively looking and research what opportunities are out there. If you don’t find the right role the first time, you can create an opportunity alert so you can be kept in the loop of new roles coming up in the recruitment industry.
Once you’ve found a role you’re interested in, you might decide to Ping the hiring manager. After you Ping the hiring manager, they’ll receive a notification indicating that you’d like to have a chat. The hiring manager will determine if you’re a good fit for their team and will get back to you if they’d like to engage in a conversation.
To make signing up as seamless as possible, your LinkedIn URL is the only information we ask for.
Your LinkedIn URL is kept private, unless you Ping a hiring manager, at your discretion.
Once a Ping is sent to that hiring manager, they’ll receive your LinkedIn URL and can then determine if you’re a good fit for the role.
